Set up IPTV on a Smart TV
Samsung and LG Smart TVs can play IPTV directly from their own app stores, so you don't need extra hardware. Most store players activate with your TV's MAC address and then load your playlist.

Step by step
- 1
Open the TV app store
On Samsung, press Home and open Apps. On LG, open the LG Content Store. Make sure the TV is connected to the internet and its software is up to date.
- 2
Install an IPTV player
Search for IBO Player (or IPTV Smarters Pro where available) and install it. Open the app once so it shows the device MAC address and device key on screen.
- 3
Send us the MAC address, or add the playlist
Some players let you enter Xtream Codes details directly on the TV. Others ask you to add the playlist on their website using the MAC address. Our support team can do this step for you if you send a photo of the screen.
- 4
Restart the app and load channels
Close and reopen the player. Your live channels, movies, series and the TV guide appear in their sections. The first load can take a minute while the guide downloads.
Samsung & LG Smart TV questions
No. Both platforms have IPTV players in their app stores. A stick or box is only worth adding if your TV is old or slow.
Store players use the MAC address to link your playlist to that specific TV. It's an identifier for the device, not a password.
Sony and Philips usually run Android TV or Google TV, so follow the Android guide. Hisense uses VIDAA or Android depending on the model.
